Donate as you Recycle

You can donate any of the following items to us to help us continue to raise much needed funds for HCR.
By donating you will help us to rescue and Rehome more cats and kittens.

Empty inkjet Cartridges

Stamps (loose, single, albums, first day covers, presentation packs, collections, postcard collections)
-
Currency (any coins or banknotes, UK & foreign, even if out of circulation)
-
Jewellery gold, silver, costume jewellery, watches, broken and damaged items (like odd earrings, snapped chains or items with missing stones).

Mobile Phones
-
Cameras (old film, digital and video)
-
Gadgets (Sat-Navs, Ipods, MP3 players, games consoles, games & accessories, Laptops & Tablet Computers

CD's, DVD's, Blu Ray's, X-Box Games, Playstation Games, Nintendo DS Games etc
You can either:

Bring the items to the HCR

Arrange with us for them to be collected or dropped to a local volunteer.

Ink Cartridges
​
Recycle your empty inkjet cartridges to help protect the environment and raise money for charity. It’s so easy. All you have to do is register and choose who you want to raise money for. You will receive freepost recycling bags and can send back up to 5 cartridges at a time or desktop recycling boxes for larger volumes.
​
Inkjets fit in the palm of your hand and have a circuit board and jet plate on the bottom. It’s cartridges that have circuit boards that have a recycling value when empty. The circuit boards are patented and cannot be made from new, so an empty must be found and refilled in order to make an alternative to the full OEM product.
​

Used Stamps
​
You can now donate your used stamps to raise much needed funds for Happy Cats Rescue.
All kinds of stamps are welcome, on or off paper.
​
Simply cut or carefully rip the postage stamp from the used envelope, being careful that you don’t damage the stamp.
