Covid 19.jpg

January 2021

2021 seems to be taking over where 2020 left off. We are now in our third national lock-down and although there is hope with the vaccine in the future we all have to cope with the difficulties before normal or even near normal life resumes.

For us as a Charity it means that many of our regular fund-raising sources are not available.   So the generous donations from our friends and supporters are more important than ever.  Can I say a particular thank you to everybody who bought some cat nip toys or other items around christmas time.

The terms of the Government lock-down means that we are not open.   We are unable to get routine veterinary treatment carried out, so we will only be taking in sick, injured or emergency cases.

Finally, please stay safe in the weeks ahead and we look forward to 2021, and hope that we can get back to normal soon

June 2020

We are open again

We would like to say a huge thank you to Support Adoption for awarding us with this amazing grant to help us continue the good work we do.  Here is a picture of us being awarded the cheque at our recent fundraising event in Pets at Home Waterlooville.     Support Adoption

We also need to say a massive thank you to Animal Friends who also awarded us a grant of £3000 which will also go towards vets fees for the coming year to help the cats that come into our care.    Animal Friends

CORONAVIRUS (COVID -19) INFORMATION & HCR IS CLOSED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT.

The safety and well-being of our volunteers, supporters, fosterer and trustees is our highest priority. We know it’s an unsettling situation at the moment and you may have some concerns around coronavirus (Covid-19) which is why we would like to reassure you that we are monitoring the situation extremely closely and are following all advice issued by the Government and Public Health England.
This does mean that with immediate effect, some activities, including homing, face-to-face fundraising and events, have been put on hold until further notice.

At this time we are also unable to take any more cats into our care other than in exceptional circumstances. If you have an emergency situation and you think you need to rehome your cat please contact us via the forms on our web site.

We will take in emergency cases such as sick or injured strays, pregnant queens, abandoned or orphaned kittens.

Please follow the advice from UK Public Health Bodies, if you have recently started to experience the most common symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19):

January 2019

After a very successful Santa Paws fundraising drive with Support Adoption and Pets at Home in Waterlooville.  One of our trustees collected our cheque for £1637.50!

This will go a long way to helping the cats that come into our care during 2019.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated to the Santa Paws campaign and the Pets at Home Waterlooville staff for their continued support.
